Hamilton happenings, are all set for February. Many things on here and in the greater Waikato. Just a few of the things on…
Great start on the 1st with Kiwigrass – New Zealand’s only Bluegrass Festival out at Narrows Park. Then whether you fancy the Raglan Music & Dance Festival on 2nd or the Unbelievable Bubble Science at Hamilton Gardens on the 3rd. or another of the many event on this month. Waikato Museum has a special Waitangi Day event 6th. There is the Te Kowhai Country Market 9th. Maybe you will celebrate Valentine’s Day in some special way this year. Then on the 23rd the Hamilton Garden’s Art Festival begins.
Perhaps you have a personal celebration during February. I encourage you to find a way to make it special. Picnics in the park, even just at home on the lawn, or perhaps fairy lights on a gazebo that sparkle brighter as the night draws in. Gathering just a few friends or widening the circle finding a place more can be together.
I’m a fan of keeping it simple and one way being able to open invitations up is to make it ‘potluck’ which effectively makes any event self catering. Have a blast with your celebrations.

Remember, first meeting is obligation free and hopefully you will go away from that with some inspiration, whether or not you decide to have me officiating.
